Andrew A. Foti
Andrew is a corporate attorney, business executive and entrepreneur.
His experience includes over 20 years as an advisor to companies in the technology and life sciences sectors – helping entrepreneurs to found, finance, scale and sell their businesses. Andrew has been recognized in establishing and leading national technology practices as a partner of two of Canada’s largest law firms, as well as having served as an executive and general counsel for companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock Exchange. Andrew also is co-founder of a legal start-up, Avokka LLP, a new and innovative legal services firm providing outsourced seasoned legal executives to mid-market companies as a virtual extension of their management teams.
Andrew’s education includes a business degree in finance and a law degree from McGill, as well as a Masters in law combining studies at Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Ottawa.
