Mr. Sanjay Krishnan is Vice President of the nuclear and thermal power group within the Energy practice at Tetra Tech Canada. Tetra Tech is a global consulting, engineering, and construction management firm with 2012 annual revenues of $2.7 Billion USD, staff of 14,000 (4,000 in Canada) located in 350 offices in over 100 countries. Tetra Tech provides technical consulting, engineering, and construction services in Water, Environmental, Infrastructure, Energy, and Natural Resources.

Sanjay has over 15 years of experience working in engineering, project management and business development roles within the energy industry and is actively involved in the development of strategic growth within this market segment.

Sanjay’s current responsibilities involve development and implementation of business strategies, developing relationships with clients and partner organizations, and coordination of Tetra Tech resources in support of the global commercial nuclear market. He is responsible for the general management of Tetra Tech’s nuclear and thermal power generation business in Canada.

Sanjay is currently on the board of Directors for the Durham Strategic Energy Alliance (DSEA) and the Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA). Sanjay has been active in the CNA student sponsorship program designed to attract students into the energy sector. Sanjay is also a member of engineers without borders (EWB).

His formal education includes a Master of Engineering Degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto (U of T) and a Masters of Business Administration from Rothman School of Management (U of T). He has completed a number of continuing education programs including Leading Professional Services Firms at the Harvard Business School, Leadership Development, Project Management and Controls, and Leadership.

Sanjay is a licensed professional engineer with the province of Ontario and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Sanjay and his wife Tania live in Toronto and have two children.
