North American Young Generation Nuclear (NAYGN)
Andrew Ali is the NAYGN Canada Affairs Chair and the CNS Toronto Branch Chair. He is involved in the implementation of equipment reliability processes for station equipment and systems and is currently supporting the Predictive Maintenance program at Pickering Nuclear Station as a vibration analyst. He has three years of experience in the analysis and interpretation of Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) inspection results for secondary side piping at OPG fossil stations (Nanticoke and Lambton Thermal Generating Stations (TGS)). Also, he has field experience for inspection of pipe hangers and supports during Bruce A Restart Project and at the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station. Moreover, he has experience performing stress analysis, design modifications, safety analysis and assessments for refurbishment and new build projects.
