More about Dom Oliveri

Dom is entering his 4th season in charge of the Thunder Women’s Soccer program. In 2015, Dom led the program to their 2nd OCAA Championship in three years, and a CCAA National Championship appearance finishing 5th. In his first season, Dom lead the program to an OCAA Provincial Championship and their first National Championship appearance in over 10 years, finishing 4th. In 2014, Dom once again led the program to an OCAA Finals appearance, finishing with a silver medal.

Dom is presently the Director of Scouting and a Technical Consultant with the Seattle Sounders Women of the WPSL. He holds an Ontario Provincial B License, and is currently in the process of completing his Pro License with the Argentinean Soccer Coaches Association (ATFA).

Dom was previously the Head Coach of Ottawa Fury FC’s Women’s team. In 2012, Dom led the Fury Women to their first ever W-League Championship. He also led the team to a W-League Finals appearance in 2011 and a third place finish in 2014. Dom amassed a record of 48-7-3 during his coaching reign with the Fury. Dom has been part of 9 Division Titles, 6 Conference Titles, 6 Semi-Finals, 4 Championship Finals, and was named W-League Coach of the Year in 2011.

Dom has also led many Fury Youth teams to Championships, and Super Y League Finals appearances. Dom was invited to participate in the Olympic Development Program for the Super Y-League as a staff coach in 2007, and was a staff coach with the EODSA Regional Program from 2001-2003. Dom has developed a solid reputation as a coach as a result of his knowledge of the game, communication, professionalism, dedication, and leadership skills.
