The Algonquin Commons Theatre is proud to present the full line-up for the 2016/2017 ACT Comedy Series!
This 2016/2017 ACT Comedy Series kicks off with American comedian, writer, actor, podcaster and MAD TV alumni Bryan Callen and opener Ryan Dillion on Friday, September 30th, 2016.
The second show in the series features an evening with Grammy Award winning comedian and marijuana activist Tommy Chong of “Cheech and Chong” on Thursday, November 24th, 2016.
Former Saturday Night Live cast member, Jon Rudnitsky along with special guest Jake Nordwind will be live in the Algonquin Commons Theatre Friday, January 27th, 2017.
The stand out star of season 10 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” Piff the Magic Dragon will be the last show in the 2016/2017 ACT Comedy Series. Think Larry David in a dragon suit performing jaw-dropping magic tricks, then throw in the World’s First Magic Performing ChihuahuaTM – Mr Piffles.

About the Algonquin Commons Theatre
The Algonquin Commons Theatre is a state of the art venue that opened in the fall of 2012 and is owned and operated by the Algonquin Students’ Association. The Algonquin Students’ Association is a non-profit corporation that was established in 1970 with offices on all Algonquin College Campuses. The SA is governed by a Board of Directors and assisted by a team of full-time staff. The Board consists of nine student Directors who make all the key decisions that affect the Algonquin Student body. www.algonquinsa.com
